Halloween - not just for kids anymore!

There is an added benefit to wearing a costume: age is not a part of the way people react to you. It was refreshing to not be viewed as a homely old woman today. I felt great. Today, I was not invisible. It was great fun.

My favourite piece of art

There is something about Jackson's art that I really love. Years ago I saw a piece that had a grizzly on a slope that glowed golden with autumn colour. It was my favourite painting, and always wondered what became of it when the cafe closed.
I go to Jasper Park Lodge several times a year, and always spend time in the gallery visiting the Jackson paintings.
